Yamhill County Transportation Assistance

United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley, the Yamhill Community Care Organization, and the Yamhill Early Learning Hub understand the importance of reliable access to transportation, and we understand the lack of reliable transportation can be a significant barrier for some adults and youth.  The goal of the Yamhill County Transportation Assistance Program is to help those who need it get to appointments related to medical care, employment, Department of Human Services, WIC services, mental health services, counseling, parenting educational classes, teacher-parents conferences, and other critical social services.  In particular, we want to make sure that children 0-8 and their families are healthy, stable, and have the tools they need so that children are ready for school and successful once they get there.

Bus passes and gas vouchers will be provided to non-profit agencies that work directly with the public in Yamhill County.  Non-profit human service agencies within Yamhill County can access these resources by submitting a request directly to the Yamhill Community Care Organization.
*Please note that requests for the February distribution will be accepted up until Friday, February 27th.

United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley, the Yamhill Community Care Organization, and the Yamhill Early Learning Hub aim to build capacity of Yamhill County non-profit organizations in order to better serve their clients.  In particular, we are focused on making sure that children 0-8 and their families have the tools then need for a safe, secure and enriching start in life.  We want every child to have a great beginning, to develop both emotionally and physically, to be ready for kindergarten, and to be armed with the skills they need to be successful once they are in school.  Find out more about the Yamhill Community Care Organization, and the Yamhill Early Learning Hub.
