The President’s Leadership Circle (PLC) is a group of generous and committed companies that give an annual gift of $5,000 or more. These corporate gifts are exclusively used to underwrite United Way’s cost of doing business - making it possible for us to have the greatest impact in our community. PLC support enables United Way to use individual contributions where they are needed most – to programs that provide help and hope to residents of Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties. Does your company provide a service you could provide to the community? Donating a one-time or continual service to a charity or someone in need can be a rewarding experience for you and your employees. Providing services (i.e. landscaping for a nonprofit, haircuts for individuals seeking jobs, legal assistance for a nonprofit or client in need) is a great way to provide a quality experience for your employees. Instill a sense of pride in your work as you help others through the skills and expertise you use every day.
Engage your company in a one-day volunteer opportunity or an ongoing initiative. Utilize skills within your company in a volunteer capacity to give back to the community in a meaningful way. United Way provides year-round volunteer projects by matching companies and groups of volunteers to community projects. If your company provides a service you would be willing to provide (such as lawn care, haircuts, financial planning, etc.), we would be happy to match you with a charitable organization who could benefit from your services.
