UNITED FOR CLASSROOMS

HELPING STUDENTS SUCCEED

United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley stands with the educators of our youth. They are the First Responders to the children in our schools. It is the teacher who sees the child come to school with duct tape around their shoes. It is the teacher who sees the child who suffers from poor dental care. And, it is the teacher who can help change those young lives so that our community thrives.

HOW CAN YOU HELP OUR TEACHERS?

  • Start a supply drive for new or very gently used shoes and clothes - jackets and warm clothing in the winter months is especially helpful.
  • Start a supply drive for a basic need - shampoo, laundry soap, feminine supplies, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.
  • Volunteer for a resource program in your school - one to two hours a week is all it takes to help these vital programs remain successful.
