The United Way of the Mid-Willamette Community Building Society is a philanthropic opportunity for local businesses to engage in our community impact work. 
 
Business Community Fundraising
Entrepreneurs and business owners are unique individuals who understand the importance of giving back to the community. In the early 1930s many Community Chests, the forerunners of the United Way system, adopted the red feather as a symbol of service to the community. Even today, there are long term volunteers who still refer to the United Way campaign as the “Red Feather” campaign. Today, we establish the Community Building Society (CBS) in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties to enhance our business community engagement. Membership in CBS has been expanded to include three levels of recognition:
RED FEATHER NETWORK: $1,500
  • Logo placement with reciprocal link to UWMWV website
  • Recognition in UWMWV annual report as a Red Feather Society member
  • Invitation to attend bi-annual CBS events with admittance for two
  • Invite to join private UWMWV Community Benefits Society Facebook group
INNOVATION ADVOCATE TEAM: $3,000
  • All of the $1,500 Partnership plus…
  • Invitation to attend UWMWV organizational events with admittance for four: ECC Breakfast, Campaign Finale, CEO/Community Leader Breakfast, Leadership Reception, affinity group events
  • Event admittance for four
  • Event sponsor recognition on UWMWV website and dedicated CBS page
PRESIDENT'S LEADERSHIP CIRCLE: $5,000

  • Logo prominently featured on back of the UWMWV t-shirts, all marketing materials, annual report, social media and a “CBS Spotlight” in the United newsletter
