June 20 & 21, 2014
166 volunteers fanned out around Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties to complete meaningful service projects at 19 sites for United Way’s Days of Action.
The annual project connects local nonprofits with volunteer teams from local organizations and businesses. Volunteer teams took on all kinds of projects, from landscaping and painting to sorting donated books. Over the course of two days, United Way volunteers completed 671 hours of volunteer service, which is worth an estimated $14,855. Thank you to the volunteer team captains, the project coordinators, and to each and every volunteer who demonstrated what it means to LIVE UNITED.
